What is the WIAT-III AU/NZ assessment?

Who is this assessment suitable for?
This assessment is suitable for students who:
· Are experiencing difficulties in school
· May require learning adjustments or support
· Need evidence for school-based provisions (e.g. NESA)
· Would benefit from a clearer understanding of how they learn
How long does the assessment take?
The testing component typically takes 2–3 hours, with additional time allocated for consultations and feedback sessions.
How often can my child complete this assessment?
The WIAT-III AU/NZ can only be administered once every 24 months, as it is a standardised assessment.
Will I receive a report? Yes.
You will receive a comprehensive written report outlining:

About the IEP/ILP Roadmap Package

About the Executive Function Bootcamps
Who are the bootcamps designed for? These sessions are ideal for students in Years 7–12 who:
· Struggle with organisation or time management
· Feel overwhelmed by schoolwork
· Need support developing independent learning skills
How many students are in each group? Groups are kept small (maximum 5 students) to ensure personalised support and meaningful engagement.
Do parents need to attend?
Parent involvement is strongly encouraged, as it helps reinforce strategies at home and improves long-term success.
