Are you over 55 and looking to get moving in a supportive and fun environment? Our FUNctional Movement class is designed specifically for you! It's more than just a class; it's a community where every step counts and support is endless.

Our group currently ranges from 50 to 79 years young. Everyone moves in their own way, but we all do the same exercises, fostering a sense of unity and shared progress. We believe in reclaiming vitality and enjoying the freedom that movement brings, resonating on a deeply personal level.

Meet Steve
Steve, a certified black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu, having trained under Sifu David Greenland, a 32nd generation Shaolin Temple Warrior Monk himself, honed his skills at Emerald Dragon Martial Arts and received his black belt in July 2019.
​
But Steve'spassion for teaching goes beyond his own black belt. Even before achieving that rank, he was already guiding students on their martial arts journeys.
​
In 2023, Steve created Jade Fitness & FUNctional Movement. This class isn't just about exercise; it's a community specifically designed for people over 40 to get moving again and in 2024 he expanded this class to over 55's where the current age of the class ranges from 50 to late 70's.
I asked a few students if they were happy to do a quick video explaining their view on the class. They had no rehearsal, we just clipped on the mic's and this is what came up.
